SMS messages are sent by HonuFon using a dedicated toll-free number. Messages are sent only to users who have provided their cell phone number during account registration and agreed to receive SMS notifications.
HonuFon sends transactional SMS messages only. We do not send marketing or promotional messages. The types of messages you may receive include:
You opt in to SMS notifications by providing your cell phone number during account registration at honufon.com. By entering your number and completing registration, you agree to receive the transactional SMS messages described above.
You can opt out of SMS notifications at any time by replying STOP to any message we send. You will receive one confirmation message and no further SMS will be sent. You may also disable SMS notifications in your account settings on the HonuFon website.
Note: Opting out of SMS may mean you miss time-sensitive service alerts. Email notifications will still be sent to your registered email address.

Message frequency varies. Most users receive fewer than a few messages per month. Messages are triggered only by account activity or service events — we do not send scheduled or recurring messages.
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan. HonuFon does not charge for SMS messages.
HonuFon SMS is not available on all carriers. Supported carriers include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and most major US carriers. HonuFon is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your phone number is used only to deliver the transactional messages described above. We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes. See our full Privacy Policy for details.
